The Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center (BMC) seek an APP to support Pediatric Endocrinology We are looking for an enthusiastic individual excited to join our diverse division, contributing to ambulatory and inpatient clinical care, teaching, and research at a leading academic medical center.
Join a thriving team: You'll collaborate with pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, and a nutritionist. Engage in ambulatory and inpatient care, teach and contribute to a Pediatric-to-Adult Transition Clinic.
Lead in patient care: Provide endocrinology, diabetes, and weight management clinical care in the ambulatory and inpatient setting. We offer comprehensive Type 1 and 2 Diabetes Programs and an Adolescent Transgender Program. We have a co-located ambulatory procedure unit for endocrine testing. We collaborate closely with Pediatric and Adult GI and Nutrition on weight management services, including bariatric surgery. We enjoy a robust collaboration with our Adult Endocrinology colleagues, including an embedded adult endocrinologist, to manage a Transition to Adult Endocrine Care Program for our adolescents. We have a strong partnership with Endocrinology at Boston Children's Hospital, including shared clinic and consult coverage and seamless access to quaternary care.
